I have a basic AR15 and would like info on a decent but not outrageously expensive Suppressor.

Welcome. If you look around, you will see the site has tried to create sections for different aspects of shooting and outdoor topics. I would suggest asking about suppressors in the Class III section. More people will likely see the question there. If you do ask it there, you may want to include some more info. Are you looking for a multi-caliber can or a dedicated 556? Do you anticipate a one and done purchase or do you think you’d be starting a collection? Are you looking for direct thread or do you want it to attach to a muzzle device?

    Kennah!
    Welcome!

As Gator said, multi-caliber capable cans are a good way to begin.
I have several cans but no multi-caliber AR versions and if I had it to do over again that’s the route I’d take.
www.silencershop.com is a good place to start as well as meplat group.

My first post in a long time. I have a few suppressors. If I could do it over again, I would start with a multi cal suppressor vs a dedicated .223/5.56 can . A 30 cal can would get you more for your money.

And as said before, be prepared to buy more. Suppressors are the crack of the gun world.
