Just call Kiran Chewawwa at WAFB and tell her a cop is stealing your flags; as much as she hates cops, she will be right over with a film crew.. After being caught, I'm sure mayor broom and chief paul will apoligize to them for catching them in the act..They are 'good boys' and probably need the flags for their church event

If you have a tall step ladder, you could move the cleat way up so they can't reach it from the ground.

You can set up some IR floodlights outside that may make your cameras work better, but that won't prevent them from stealing the flags.

How often does this happen? What is the time frame between flags being stolen?

Electrifying the flag pole would be pretty damn cool...especially if you catch it on video.

Quite a few years ago, I worked with a guy that did just that when some punks were trying to steal his new truck. After the punks got zapped, they sued him and the court awarded them several times what the truck cost. He ended up going broke.

My uncle had a deer catching setup in his garden years ago, a motion detector wired to an extension cord, ran back to a lamp in his bedroom. You could mount the detector where you think they're coming in at so you have time to hopefully meet them face to face.
