About 19 years ago my camp in Tangi parish was broken into and a couple guns were stolen. Last week I had a phone call from the Sheriff's Dept. that they recovered one of them. Drove up to pick up my Winchester 94AE Trapper .44 Mag. Yahoo! I was never able to find one to replace it with and glad I didn't. In pretty good condition, some minor pitting, magazine spring missing (ordered new one). Lots of good memories with this little rifle. Ate lunch at Mike's Catfish to celebrate.
Seems an ex-con sold it to a pawn shop. Not sure if he is the one who stole it or not.
