    I been wanting a 1911 for nearly 10 years since I shot a buddy's trophy match. So I went to go buy a spring field mil spec the Friday before Christmas. I didn't want to spend too much. I figured $500-$550 would be good enough. I rather buy lower tier and see what I do and don't like. I'm sure a 9mm would have less recoil but I always told myself it has to be in 45 for my first one.View attachment 91265

    I went put around 50 rounds through it xmas day. So far so good.

    Picked up a CZ 457 Lux in .22LR and a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire scope with BDC.
    Now I just need to find the right scope rings to mount it and clear the irons because the Warne Highs that I got don't work.

    Nice rifle. I especially like the shirt and hat, ROLL TIDE lol

    Next time I need to put 8 or 10 brad nails into some trim, no more hauling around the air compressor.
