Good morning fellas, well I have been waiting a while to try some of this ammo and finally have gotten some in. I typically use my encore 45-70 and silencerco hybrid along with 405gr hardcast and 13gr on trail boss for around a 1" group at 75yrds and it packs one heck of a punch. I have shot plenty deer in the food plot and the other deer just watch them run off and blow at them or keep eating, If that gives you and idea of how quiet it is :mamoru: .. I have even shot a big body 6pt running straight at me in the chest at about 80yrds and had complete pass through and made a new butt hole about 1" under the original one lol. But what it lacked was the expansion. I have never lost a deer with the 405gr subsonic hardcast but sometimes there was very little blood, even thought that's not a problem as I have never had one run outta sight before crashing like they were hit with a very sharp broad head. Its so quiet all you hear is the thump of the round on the deer. So it had the penetration, which I know is important to us fellas.

So fast forward I picked up some with super fast shipping, I received them within 2 days from my order, just like prime lol.... MAKER BULLETS, 350gr trex expanding bullets and started with my loading up...

Of course with the stupid stuff cause people are to stupid to understand unless I spell it out...

LOAD at your own risk.. this is my data. may be diff in your gun, try without suppressor first and look for keyholes, check case for improper burining ect and also don't play in traffic, point loaded guns at people and don't sass momma, good that's done

    15gr trailboss

    light Lee factory crimp

started off at 13gr and worked my way up tp 15gr and was able to keep all rounds subsonic and sub 1" groups at 50 yrds with all loads and no key holes, I settled on the 15gr as they grouped the best. Then I tried the water jug test, and wow!!! shot 4 of them into jugs and 100% consistent.. All of them completely blew up the first 2 jugs and was caught in the 3rd jug. 3rd jugs all had around a 2" cut like a 3blade broad head in them and all retained 99.9% of there weight. I am very impressed with them and cant wait to try them on some deer.. I encourage yall to give maker bullets a try, they have every caliber super and subsonic projectiles you can think of and John is very nice with getting with you on starting up a load for your caliber... In short I couldn't be happier, well happy hunting to yall and good luck with the rest of the season

pics below is of 45-70 configuration and penetration

maybe with a bad shot yea, but a good behind the sholder shot will not have the high temp buringing area nor the explosive high velocity damage... if at all should be about like a 3 blade broad head slicing into it. deff wont be as much as a super sonic round I would imagine
That’s impressive. But you’ll lose more meat.

my neighbor got me started on these the first time I saw them in action, he shot a buck at 100yrds with ruger American 300aac with silencerco hybrid... he used the 180gr maker subs. Hes and older man and called me over to help him go get it.. the blood was crazy... Reminds me of the first time I saw a rage broad head perform correctly :mamoru: Deer ran about 40yrds and was very easy to track with that much blood. Was a complete pass through and the exit hole was bigger than a half dollar. Much bigger than an ol muzzy 3blade would have been, he has since dispatched several deer with this set up, and doing my part had to go help the senior citizen out, lol not one of them didn’t have a complete pass through and the same exact exit hole and blood

heres the pic, no meat damage on this shot

I have quite a few other loads from mild to wild.. 405gr hardcast gas check @1950 and some 300gr jhp @2100.. but often find myself sticking with suppressed subsonic lol

yea Im deff gonna get some lined up for the other calibers... and they are much cheaper than some of the alternatives like leigh high ect.. But the only problem with me is I find something I like and I have to get stocked up on them, lol I cant function with just 50 or so on hand :mamoru:... Im very interested to try some of these makers in my 16.25" encore 44mag subsonic and my .308 :D...

oh by the way for some of the fellas who don't reload I found out that black butterfly ammo sells maker bullets complete loaded and ready to go...just throwing it out there
