And when you go to draw it does it say and allow the gun to be removed easily or does it move around and cause you to have to use your other hand to hold the holster? Just curious.
Next question is what do you do if you go into a gas station, grocery store, or restaurant? What about when you get home at night? Does the gun stay in the car overnight?

My gun is usually in my cup holder in a kydex IWB holster when I’m in my personal vehicle. Poor choice? Maybe , but it works for me.

Exactly. What some people might consider a "poor choice" for them, is the best option for others. It's really just personal preference. Not sure why some people are such a** clowns with their opinions.

Motor51 didn't say it was his best option. He just said it was his choice. In fact, he acknowledged the possibility that his choice was poor.

I’ll also go out on a limb and say that I’ve been to tons of crashes and have yet to see someone injured from an unsecured firearm.

It's not awkward to grab but not as easy to re-holster . It doesnt move and is hidden well under the steering wheel. It lives in the jeep and doesnt get removed. It's more secure then most vehicles with proximity sensor. When the doors come off the jeep it goes in the lock box in another holster.

How many of those crashes had a secured firearm?

Never saw one attached to a magnet but some had handguns and long guns in the vehicle. Here is a picture of a car that crashed during a pursuit. None of these were secured and no injuries from any firearms. If it’s that common for injuries from flying firearms, I guess these 2 guys should play the lottery.

I have seen injuries from improperly wearing a seatbelt. If your seatbelt is over your firearm placing the gun between the seatbelt and your body that could be a problem during a crash. I wouldn’t want a handgun crushing into my body when that seatbelt tightened up.

Not smart...vehicle breakins are incredibly common everywhere in the US. If someone just so happens to go in your vehicle, you just gave a criminal a gun that could be used to hurt someone.
