no knowledge but I would be willing to bet that since it has been advertised that the POTUS (TRUMP) will be in town for the national college championship football game set for MONDAY EVENING and that security has been heightened all over the city more than normal.... drill sgt.
I wasn't there but I've been to other events that had their half assed security checking people. I once went through their security with three huge pelican cases full of camera gear. All the alarms went off and they literally just waved me and two other guys through. Never bothered to open any of the cases or pat us down.
