This could go in a few places but this will do. I recently inherited a J. C. Higgins model 88. It’s a beautiful gun. It’s one of the less common variations with tons of scroll work. It was my Grandmother’s and actually her dads. Research say it shoots Short, Long, Long Rifle. Which makes it a great squirrel and rabbit gun. Pretty sure my Great Grandfather used it for this purpose some 50 odd years ago.
So here is why I put it in the Holster section. I’m left handed and need to come up with a holster for this gun. I’m a retention Nazi so it would need some type of retention. I’m thinking leather thumb break to prevent any excess wear like it might get from a kydex that forms snug around the gun. I’m open to suggestions because so far the best I got is find a thumb break for an obscure 60+ year old firearm.
