Did anyone else go out to the GSSF match in Gonzales last month?

I went and shot OK ... I shot much better than I did last year, but not quite as well as I did in some of my practice drills.

To my surprise, I got a GSSF prize in the mail this afternoon! A Glock shovel and knife. Not quite as exciting as getting a free pistol, but it's certainly better than nothing.

I was out there RO'ing the 5 to Glock stage (aka the mud pit stage).
Took home $100 and a Pistol Cert for placement and a ETool (Shovel) as random drawing.

Did better than I thought in Stock and Competition division. Really messed up in Pocket. Heavy Metal, Major Sub and Sub Compact were OK, Shooting a 26 and a 30. I was not used to shooting those short grip models and it showed.

That's funny ... I shot my 26 better than I shot my 19X that day. Mind you, I was shooting stages with the 19X first, so it may also be the case that I was more limber and "in the groove" when I transitioned to the 26.

Whatcha gonna get with your pistol cert?

I'm leaning towards the 35 MOS. As a back up for Limited Division. I may even shoot Carry Optics every now and then.
