    Any of you guys well versed on preban Swiss rifles?

    The rifle in question here is a new in box Sig Arms SG 550-2 SP. There is a small amount of info floating around online about these rifles. There were apparently just a handful of these sent over into the USA before the ban.

    Any of you guys have any intel on these? Anyone own one? Production numbers?

    These seem to be for the preban collector with deep pockets as they appear to be one of the more rare preban rifles.

    Only ~250 sent into country.
    $15k plus on the price, and that is a conservative guess.
    If you have one, you need a trustworthy person to estimate value for it.
    All I really know.

    I talked to Dave over at JDI. He confirmed this. And of that approx 250 I wonder how many are unfired? Goodie goodie.
