For the NOPD Beretta guys. Gunbroker. $500 starting bid. Looks a little rough in spots but beggars can't be choosers, I guess.

Ouch. Nothing to beg for there except a big price drop. I bought two police trade in 92’s a couple years ago with the Trijicon package for $299 each in very good condition
And life left in the sights so I sent in the slides and had them replaced. No way I’d pay $500 for a beat up NOLA stamped gun, but there are fools born every day.

Picked up one from Gretna Gun Works today. Nothing like looking through a box of guns and picking one out. It took me longer to pick one out than paperwork/checkout. Thanks guys!

Just pulled my NOLA Glock 22 apart for the first time.

It has a standard (5.5 lb) connector, a NY 1 trigger spring, and a standard (24N) firing pin spring. According to the armorer's manual, that works out to a trigger pull of 7.9 to 10.8 pounds.

I just checked it with my meter, and it's breaking at about 8 1/4 pounds of pressure, give or take a bit.

It'll work fine for me. I'm generally used to a lighter factory trigger on my Glocks, but I shoot a lot of DA revolver as well.

Just a heads up to my fellow NOPD Glock brethren, if you are local to Metairie/New Orleans or feel like driving in, a Glock rep will be at Jefferson Gun Outlet on Airline Hwy this weekend (3/13 - 3/15). This is a good chance to have your NOPD guns inspected by Glock for free.
