    I used to help my buddy as the butcher's helper when he cuf them up. He would have me over to eat many times after.
    Red gravy like a traditional fish couvillion but little spicy.

    I think there’s only 2 ways to cook it besides jerky! Lol.
    Seriously though, fried or sauce piquant is the only way I’ve ever eaten Gator and they’re both great. I’ve heard of folks cooking it BBQ style but have never tried it.
    I’m a big fan of General Tso’s chicken and have often considered substituting alligator...

    My brother married a Cajun lady so that technically makes him a Coonass by proxy.
    That said, he makes a mean sauce piquant.
    I’d go that way.
