Like car shopping, you have to go gun shopping. What works for me might not do well for you.

No time. Iím just planning to order one online in the next day or 2. So anecdotal experience is great for me.

Ok so order on line and pick up at FFL. But still have to go to gun store to pick up.
If getting a Semi-Auto of any kind made sure it fits your hand, size? Can rack slide etc.
Revolver also the same thing to big small ease of use? Better go look see unless this is like buying some cans of Spam and Tuna for you.........................
Edit if it is just to know you have a gun, TP, Canned Goods Etc. Just grab one here from the Market Place

Two very reliable pistol brands are Glock and HK. YMMV
The 9mm versions are very popular.

Well we don't rent pigs and I figure it's better to say it right out front because a man that does like to rent pigs is... he's hard to stop.

    Sig Sauer P226, P229 in 9mm. H&K P30 or VP9 in 9mm. Glock 19. Can't go wrong with any of these.
