300 blackout vs 223? I see the bullet size is vastly different the 300 can shoot 220gr rounds though the muzzle velocity is a lot slower. Which AR is preferred for self defense?

For what you want just get a 5.56/223 one.
Same as the 9mm get the common one with cheap plentiful ammo.

Yes thats what im thinking. Well, I guess I would like to know which ammo is the Cheapest round with the highest muzzle velocity and most knockdown power. 223 seems kind of weak though it is cheap and good for long range.

556/62gr green tip or soft points depending on job needed Reliable and semi cheap to shoot and can deff do the job

.300aac 115gr supers 220gr subs, reliable as long as you don’t try to fine tune for subs specifically and shoot supers and vise versa expensive and can deff get the job done

7.62x39 123gr sp or fmj reliable as long as you have a good quality bolt and mags and super cheap

6.8 90gr-120 reliable semi expensive and deff get the job done...

I have all of the above calibers...

my go to right now for personal protection/home defense/truck gun is either my

11.5* bcm sbr suppressed 556 w/62gr soft points or green tips or same exact set up as a complete 11.5* Bcm pistol for ease of crossing state lines vs sbr paperwork

    Or

    Ddm4v7 SLW 556 14.5* pin/welded brake 62gr sp or gt.

11.5* bcm sbr suppressed 556 this is probably what I am looking for. The 556 ammo is hard to beat in price and imagine the steel rod adds a lot to the green tips.

If that is your budget for the upper and can you can do much better than Aero precision. Aero is great for budget minded stuff, but once you skip $700-$800 for a rifle from them there are better choices.

That one is just high because it has permanent silencer built in. Seems like a pretty good deal considering the silencer is $900 alone. pretty cool being just 7.5" with the silencer.

It just includes a silencer, the silencer is still a screw on.

I bought a few cases of these on the cheap (cheap for what they are anyway) and I like them for home protection loads.
Not sure if they’re still available or not.

With today’s technology in braces, ar15 sbr’s are silly and a waste of money but I got them way before the whole brace situation lol

200 grain inceptor ARX poly/copper fragmenting ammo.
It's a huge hard hitting round that dissipates energy immediately on impact . That way bullets won't over penetrate end up in your neighbors kids room. I do have a laser on my home rifle so missing isn't an option.
