What have you got used or new for a elcheapo build for my nephew’s first AR? Considering setting it up initially with a run in 22 conversion kit to start until he feels comfortable with it.
Trying to stay away from bare stainless, so anything black, blue, parkerized etc. will do fine. I have everything else but won’t turn my nose up at included gas block, gas tube or flash suppressor. Wanna stay at $100 or less.
16 inch carbine gassed 5.56/.223Rem/.223Wylde preferably pencil or M4 profile.
