Like walking around alone late at night along darkly lit streets. Or broadcasting you have a weapon and passing the element of surprise over to the bag guy.

Well there is the rub isn it. None us knows this guys reality, yet many wish to condemn him for having his personal property stolen. Where is the attaboys for him having the wherewithal to call it in properly that gave the local PD opportunity to catch’s the perps, I likely missed those posts, kudos to the guys that offered them.

Bad job allowing the criminals to have the element of surprise by broadcasting what he was carrying. Good job on knowing how to use a phone. Better?

Do you have a Concealed Handgun Permit or do you Open Carry?

    here
This thread is great. Kudos to the guy for calling in after getting his property stolen? What? I’m more aggravated that he put a firearm in the hands of a criminal, who might not have had access to one before he came along.

You can only carry concealed here after you PAY the State for you're constitutional right.

Key words here are, Pay the State ...........

The argument that carrying concealed is a constitutional right is no different than the argument that driving is a constitutional right, except people pay for registration and taxes without batting an eye.

I know a few Sovereign Citizens. Most of them have the bill from Safe-Lite Auto Glass to prove it.

The difference is people who opt to not get a drivers license and chose other legal methods of travel don’t get the stigma of being a F-face. Part of that is there are many other options to legally travel that doesn’t require a license. Unfortunately there is only one legal method of carry in many states that doesn’t require a CHP.

There is definitely a stigma to taking a bus or public transportation in most cities.

Sure a stigma, but you’re not an a-hole for riding the bus, taking a cab, walking or riding a bike in safe places. Many people have decided you are the enemy if you open carry you’re some how a bad person and contributing to violence by potentially making yourself a victim and letting criminal have your gun.
