Also, did it still fit in the Backpack after?
If you’re looking for one that will I likely know of two 4x scopes that definitely should. I’ve got one mounted on my CMR 30 and I have another that looks identical in size and shape to the Simmons 22 mag mini that’s long since been discontinued. Both of these are very decent quality. I’ll try to post pics and more info.

This is a illuminating ret (red/green) from Monstrum that works well. They’re inexpensive and hold zero.
The other is in the box and I’ll have to dig it out. Got it on a daily deal (email) but can’t remember where. I’ll post ASAP

This one I’ve not mounted but it comes with a decent set of rings (3/8 in groove) that won’t help you on the Ruger. Reticle is a duplex with tiny mil dot scale that prolly won’t help much either. Nevertheless, I’m near convinced that this is the Simmons mini with a different label, having had one in the past. Decent sight picture and clear for a chy-knee optic.
These are both tiny scopes at 4x28 and 7 in length.
The Monstrum can be found on Amazon. I’ll try to find out where I got the other one.
    Found it. 25 bucks

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t extend much past the receiver if at all. It was a hectic day today, I will get pics up soon.

I went and got one from Amazon since you posted a LINK. Thanks
If and when you get time to post how long it is as I am sure others have read the thread and will want one as well.

    Which 10-22 variant is that?

It's a standard 10/22 takedown. I added the rail and changed the stock to a Magpul Hunter X-22 Takedown. If you're wondering about the bag, it's the Mica Bronze version that came with a tan bag. That was the only color I could find in the takedown model with a threaded barrel.

That's a cool bag kinda like the NRA figure it came with the bronze.
I have the Black Stock 2 of the black bags like that. The Tan looks great.
I wonder what the Triangle-Tapperd Tan bags look like inside.
When the Take-Down 1st came out it was right before Christmas. I was in like at Cabela's for Black Friday in the 1st 15 or so in line.
I paid almost nothing for it. Was one of the "Just a few at that price" My wife was with me so I had to keep spending down.
Just put the Talo Anniversary wood stock on it

I'd like to get one in the future (when this whole virus scare is gone) that is as lightweight as possible and with a decent scope. Currently don't have anything to plink with besides 9mm

The plastic stock is not heavy at all. As it is hollow I think we gave $239.00 for mine Stainless Steel and Black Stock.
She says it may have been less than that. Was a door Buster we have almost none to sell amount wise.

I would need more than that I have a Uncle Mikes Holster and a half a box of ammo. So it is worth twice what I paid!
Or is that just for used Glocks?
