    I can already hear the snickering and laughing but yes I am seriously trying to buy a Hi Point Pistol chambered in 9mm just to say I own one. Can't really hate on them since I have never fired one so figured I would just buy one.

    I enjoy mine. good luck finding one. One bit of advice, strip the coating off of the feed ramp first and you just might not have any fail to feed issues.

    I own one and did a 1000 round torture test right after I bought it.
    Random ammo from an old bin comprised most of the rounds throughout it.
    Absolutely no failures whatsoever.
    And since it has a fixed barrel, it was more accurate than I expected.
    Only issue was ergonomics.
    A friend and I took turns loading and shooting.
    By the end of the test we both had blisters on our hands.
    For me, I had a thumb blister and lingering pain in that joint that took weeks to get better.

    What I took from it is that it’ll work in a pinch or if you’re tight on funds.
    And I actually respect the pistol.
    That said, I’ll likely never shoot it again but keep it as a toolbox gun.
    But it was a fun experience.

    No laughing here.

    I got this one as a joke because they actually did the Yeet Cannon.

    However after shooting it, and as much as I want to hate it.....I like the damn thing.
