Been running a garmin fenix 3 sapphire for about 4-5 years. Was stupid expensive for a digital ABC when I bought it (~$800) but it’s been bombproof ever since. Tons of watch faces on the garmin app and it’s more accurate than my truck’s speedometer.

By the way, I had no idea you could customize watch faces with an app.
    That is bad ass.

Yup, I’m older than I’d like to admit.

When I'm not wearing an Apple Watch, I'll sometimes break out the Baghdad special Rolex. It's about 15 years old and it's probably the best $10 watch I've ever owned. The second hand ticks instead of sweeps, I think it's got Seiko guts, but it's not a bad replica.

I stopped wearing a watch when I had to go through metal detectors several times a day (nuclear plant) Once I retired my wife decided I needed an Apple Watch since I’m *old* and they monitor you heart! so she got me one for Christmas. It is great for many purposes including heart rate when exercising...

I'm wearing the best mechanical watch ever made - the Seiko 5.

Nothing -- and I mean nothing -- compares to the durability and simplicity of the Seiko 5. I bought this back in 1998 at the duty free in Havana. It was my daily beater for about 10 years, and I've probably worn it weekly since. It has never been opened, much less serviced, and it still keeps fantastic time.

    No arguments there.
I gave my nephew a Seiko 5 when he graduated.
He’s still wearing it many years later.

I only wear watches on the weekend. The s3 Frontier with a leather band is my watch:

I've been plotting vectors from the TV to the fridge and back and using a vintage Breitling Navtimer to make sure I don't get lost.

    Nice!
I particularly like the dial eyes in the 3,6 and 9 configuration.
