Ive handled a hunting buddy’s. It’s a quality M40 pattern rifle, but there are a lot of options in m40 pattern rifles and there are other quality patterns as well. It’s a good option though.

Just finished putting this HMR Pro in 6 Creed together.
I played with all of the variants in the store and this was what I needed for the job but the Ridge would be high in my list for a hunting rifle. Fantastic trigger out of the box. All the benefits of a Rem 700 with none of the pitfalls. After countless hours of research and handling I went with Bergara. I don’t think you can go wrong with that rifle.

Got the Bergara Ridge 6.5 Creedmore. After breaking in the barrel, shot this 5 shot group at 100 yards.
Very satisfied with the purchase.

The group I posted was with Berger 135 hunting bullets and H4350 powder.
That's a great looking rifle you have.
