Mine was in a very old but is like-new in the factory cardboard box and was never used. Additionally, the #'s on the box and mold are clear and both are 356404.
The books show it at 95-Grains but it is casting right at 130 with lube.
I am wondering if they made it in 2 flavors as they do with some molds as a 356242 comes in 90 and 125.
That is unless it was a special order-run? They used to do that way back when. Even 2 different bullets and calibers on the same mold way back when.
So if anyone has one of these can you measure and see what the OAL of the bullets are? As well as if the base below the lube groove is as long as mine or as short as the picture I uploaded are thanks.

I can't help with that Lyman mold, but if you are looking for a bullet close to a standard 356404, you might consider checking Accurate Molds 35-100L. Or Tom can cut a mold to your spec. Any diameter or weight. I've designed a couple of molds and Tom cut them for me. Tom's molds are top notch and they work awesome.

Hoping someone has info on the 356404 at one of the other places I asked. As seems strange that it is not found in any other books as that being made that heavy
Thanks, I will look into that.
Looking for a really lite one I do have a 356242 that weighs in at 95-grains with lube.
But was looking for a flat nose for use in the 9mm BlackHawk Cylinder.
I was also looking into this one as well. It is a Lyman 358242 made into a Flat Point, W/Hollow Point Pins
Yes, I posted at Castboolits and the guy who does CastPics "Will" He just has the same info I have. We used to talk a lot when I was hitting the chat room there. One said that the 356404 they have cast between 96 and close to 100.
No one so far has said that the 356404 they have is that heavy or long.
