Having shot both, I’m fairly certain I’m in the minority, but the LCP 2 was awful.

I wouldn’t trust it for anything more than a get off me gun.

Having used both, the trigger on the LCP2 is way better the the original LCP

This, I cannot get over the cruddy trigger on the lcp1. The double click reset killed it for me. And then comparing to a Kahr cw380 killed the rest.

The lcp 2 is much better than the lcp1, but the qulity feels low compared to the kahr. The kahr is more expensive, but worth it, to me.

I have only two guns that I have bought new and actually really liked...

#1 was a P365 I love that thing and carry it all the time and it is enjoyable to shoot.

#2 is a LCP2. I actually really like it I put in some heavier recoil springs and can actually hold groups quite well like almost 3" at 10 yards but the sights are pitiful and I wish they were not milled into the slide.... The trigger is far superior to the LCP1 or custom... If you get bored you are more than welcome to try it lol

I upgraded the spring, guide rod and trigger (Galloway) on my LCP1, basically making it a Custom, but it still isn't as nice to shoot as my LCP2. If you're interested in buying it, though, let me know! :) I haven't had any problems with reliability on either of them.

Never shot a LCP 1 (original) or 2, but I love my LCP Custom. Never had an issue at all and I carry it all of the time.
