I didn’t want to start a new thread so figured this one would do. I found this article interesting as a ford truck owner.

Hopefully they just bit the hand that feeds them and will be dealt the hand they asked for!!!

My partner and I both stopped buying ford trucks personally and for our company 15 years ago when they were selling garbage F-250 box trucks with a known power train issue and would not keep honoring the warranty, even though we had to send those albatrosses in for service almost every week.

This pandering to the same people that would watch the Republic burn to the ground without a second thought just makes it even worse!

    F**K THEM!

I believe the Ford Foundation sold all it’s Ford Motor Company stock over 40 years ago and is longer associated with Ford Motor Company. So it’s my understanding that they are two entirely different entities at this time that were both founded by the same person.

I have not owned a ford vehicle for over 12-15 years. And I will never own another one. Just to be fair to the argument, I have not owned any chevy vehicles either for over 5-6 years and will not own another one. Dodge, I am also thinking about kicking them to the curb as well.

    here
For a time the Toyota Tundra was the most made in America truck. I believe it’s the Honda ridge line last time I looked.

Maybe and if so, please provide info to that being correct. Thanks!

From my own google foo search, Ford never owned Mazda even though they owned controlling interest/shares in the company serveral times for many years.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda

    Partnership with Ford Motor Company

From 1974 to 2015, Mazda had a partnership with the Ford Motor Company, which acquired a 24.5% stake in 1979, upped to a 33.4% ownership of Mazda in May 1995.[16] Under the administration of Alan Mulally, Ford gradually divested its stake in Mazda from 2008 to 2015, with Ford holding 2.1% of Mazda stock as of 2014[17] and severing most production as well as development ties.

On September 30, 2015, when Ford's shares had sunk to a little over 2% due to stock dilution, Ford sold its remaining shares in Mazda.[32]

Ford Motor Company Fund is automaker’s charitable organization. The Ford Foundation sold all it’s Interest in FoMoCo in 1949 according the web. It’s two different entities that happened to have founded by the same man.

Mazda's produced in Japan were always superior to the Ford cooperative ones made in the USA
