    I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to place the pads where they normally would, but didn't realize the engine isn't where they thought it was.

    I had a C4 and two C5s. The floor is basically laminated balsa wood. There are specific locations for jacks. I NEVER let a tire changer place the jacks under my cars.
