I'm surprised, because from what I saw of the last gun show out in Gonzales, there weren't many people participating.

Big shortage of Ammunition and Firearms Nationwide with many first time buyers for both.

I think we caught a lot of residual traffic at GGW from the gun show today. Especially people who did not want to wait in line. Its absolutely crazy how busy we have been.

The lines did not take long and kept moving. I'd say they were operating at more than 75% as there were congested areas we avoiided. There were fewer vendors there this time and lots of free space. I'm not going to say it sucked but I look forward to the next one in hopes to seeing more vendors.

Went this morning. Got there at about 7:15am and the line was already around the side of the building. Masks and temperature checks required to get in. Went looking for .45acp ammo with a side objective of a Glock 17 Gen 3. Prices are absolutely batshit crazy. One table had 100 round .45 acp Winchester WB for $84.95. Cheapest G17 I saw was a new Gen 4 for $699. One guy had a used G17 Gen 5 for $800. No thanks.

Considering 9mm is selling for up to $0.60/rd for ball ammo, it doesn’t surprise me.

Was anyone buying or just looking?

Went there just to check things out. There were probably 500 people waiting in line from the entrance to that volleyball area. Either most were 1st time gun owners or desperate to buy guns. I saw a lot of people buying usually cheap $500 AR15s for $1,000 and people buying 1,000 rounds of 9mm for $400+. Busier than usual.
