My first reaction is who knows how they’re getting them.
Best guess is that they’re stolen or modified weapons.
Either way, my entire time in the infantry I never used the auto selector outside of training.
You can’t hit much of anything and you waste ammo quickly.

These buttholes are just as likely to hit each other as their intended targets.
And since I feel fairly certain they’re not going into their actions with a full battle loadout, they’ll have a full auto paperweight in no time flat.

Maybe they dove in the surrounding waterways and retrieved some of those silly pieces of plastic. I think they were called bump sticks or something like that.?

It’s worth mentioning not all illegal guns in this country are stollen from US citizens or Us organizations.

    Correct.

As much as people don’t want to believe it, a lot of criminals acquired guns legally.

Didn’t sound full auto to me...

    Sounds like two short bursts.

It is very easy to make a lot of guns full auto, but I would bet based on recent events it was a gun stolen from a police station or police car. I mean, if you really wanted to a drill, some post it notes and a pen/pencil are enough to make accurate happy holes in many firearms.

It doesn’t take much to convert an AR to full auto. Here’s a pic of a lightning link found in a gun taken off a drug dealer in Baton Rouge a few years ago.

A coworker used to brag about using a coat hangar to make his AR15 "full auto" for when the "zombies" come around... Not hard to illegally modify a weapon but not very smart either.

This all sounds Very Dangerous. I fell there should be a law to stop all of these criminal rioters from owning these Dangerous guns. And they shouldn't have a gun that can shoot more than one bullet with just one trigger pull.
    Oh, Wait...
