    Does anyone know the weight of the 20" barrel that comes on this rifle? I have one that I would like to shed some weight so I was thinking I could with a barrel swap possible? Its a heavy contour barrel...so maybe something fluted or a Proof carbon fiber one?

    im not sure, i have the rem 700 LTR fluted might save some weight on it, mine isnt to bad with a wide strap
