    Good evening all. I’m looking for advice and opinions on the Remington LTRs and 5rs. I’m currently in the market for a 20 inch threaded model. I’m looking for something to suppress for long range work. Thanks for any feed back

    I have an early Remington 700 20” LTR SPS tactical, put it in a magpul with a Nikon monarch 4-16z... shoots great suppressed and sub 1” groups...

    I've had a couple of 5R's in .308....both shot well...one extremely well with FGMM ammo! A couple others I've seen all shot well. Never had or fired an LTR. If I bought a new Remington today, it would be a 20" 5r in .308 with threaded barrel. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Lol
