    From optics planet on scope:

Trijicon AccuPoint 1.25-4x24 Riflescope, specifically designed for close-range safari hunting. Like the original Accu Point 3-9x40, its dual-illuminated triangle aiming point glows at night from tritium, and during the day from the fiber-optic system. Advanced, multilayer coated optics permit excellent light transmission without parallax and our quick-focus eye-piece gives hunters rapid clarity adjustment. Trijicon AccuPoint 1.25-4x24 has a wider field of view and longer eye-relief that accommodates large caliber rifles and is ideal for taking fast-moving animals such as the Nyala and the dangerous Cape Buffalo. During field testing on a safari hunt in South Africa, the AccuPoint 1.25-4x24, mounted on a Weatherby .460, was used to take a Cape Buffalo, a Kudu, a Nyala and a Gemsbuck. On another recent safari hunt, a professional hunter supplied his clients with a single AccuPoint, moving the scope from rifle to rifle. The group took an elephant, two leopards, and twenty four antelope.Like the AccuPoint 3-9x, the 1.25-4x24 allows hunters to take a trophy that would be impossible using an ordinary scope that lacks AccuPoint?s exclusive features. A standard crosshair reticle can disappear due tolack of contrast when aiming at a dark animal or when shooting in low-light conditions. The AccuPoint aiming triangle provides reticle illumination and high target contrast during the day, through twilight, and into full night darkness, extending the hunting day. The AccuPoint's highly-advanced Bindon Aiming Conept (BAC) allows hunters to use the two-eye aiming method along with magnified sighting. When the rifle is being moved, the shooter is on target, the targeted image "zooms" into magnification. Rapid target acquisition provided bythe BAC feature is particularly effective for discriminating between multiple moving animals, especially when hunting in wooded or brushy terrain.
