I usually see one or two at Tickfaw in the fishing pond.
The swamp tour in Laplace was fun. Just off Hwy 51 and I10/I55. I figured we'd see a dozen on the tour. Instead I bet we saw 50! Most were 4 -6', a few big ones though. The boat was never more than a mile from the launch...
You know, there's a man hunt for someone right now in St John. God help that guy if he's swimming those waters! He's better off in jail!
