Question -I have some ammo to sell.

I have some ammo to sell, question is what to price it out for. Don't want to over price it, like I've seen here.
Can the fellow BS members advise me please.

    AE 223 Rem 55 grain 20 round box X 4
    HPR 223 Rem 55 grain 50 round box X 5
    AE 5.56 XM855 62 grain 150 round box X 2
Mixed bag 5.56/.223 loose in bag 80 rounds
Winchester Ranger LE 9mm 147 grain SXT loose in 25 round bags each X 4
    Hornady Critical Defense 9mm 115 grain + P loose in bags 25 rounds each X 4

    Thanks!

My suggestion is to see what distributors are selling the ammo for and price it accordingly.
"I love the smell of napalm in the morning!"

"Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I read your book!"

    !00 rounds of 147gr. SXT.
100 rounds of 115+P Critical Defense.
I sold comparable ammunition to these 2 on here in original boxes at $48 per hundred rounds.
It would be difficult to find any at that price now.

Depends if you just want it all gone fast, or if you don't mind waiting or selling little by little. .223/5.56 brass ammo right now would go for .35 fast but some people would pay .40 or over for it. More for XM855

Yes, .50 per round for good SD ammo would sell really quick. All that is easily $1 or more right now.

My 2 cents, that $48 per hundred range might be good, also like other poster said, depends how quickly you want to sell it.

For everything I sell, here or the other 5 places I sell things, I value the market.

For the Ammo I sold here and on Gun Broker I saw what others were selling it for and priced it accordingly. All the while trying to be fair to the buyer, but also myself.

Try looking online where Ammo is selling and the price is high enough for them not to run out in a day or 2.

Example I saw Bass Pro had 9mm FMJ for $8.99 a box, I ordered 10 boxes, they couldn’t even fill the whole order.

Now they are still selling out at $12.99 a box, same Ammo.

    YMMV

    Thanks for the input.
Only place I see in stock and selling is GunBroker, and the prices are ridiculously high.

On gunbroker be sure you look at completed auctions that actually sold
No matter if you think you can or think you can't, you are probably right !!
