I have drank the cool-aid and I am now building a FOC set of arrows!
After a hunt last season where I bounced a speed arrow off the shoulder of a big boar, and ten minutes later was faced with a hard quartering-to shot on a buck I had to get more penetration out of my setup.

    I was shooting: blackeagle zombie slayers/nokturnal/rage hypodermic 28"@ 68lb.
    This season : Easton axis+75g brass insert/nokturnal/ 125g Helix single bevel 28"@70lb.

spend some time and check out the ranch fairy on youtube to educate yourself on penetration and arrow building/tuning.

Lol, I bought a couple big boxes of carbon arrows from Sportsman’s Guide really cheap a few years back. Seems I’m ok with shooting these right out the box. I needed some shafts for all the terminator broad heads I bought from Walmart with the red stickers on them. Dang they were cheap. I bought all they had. The setup has performed very well for me. I guess I’m just easy to please.
