    Oh my.
    Dang...
    Shut your mouth.
I’m just poking around online and what I see in stock (with 3-5 week shipping, mind you)
9mm FMJ is 44-80+ cents per round....but you can camp out at academy and get it for 30 cents per round plus tax (33 cents per round)

    I saw .40 for 36-44 cents/rnd

    XM855 starting at 69 cents/rnd

    Anybody seeing different?

I wouldn’t wanna be the guy buying ammo right now, but if you are, maybe peeps will post up any good deals they see on ammo and components here.
This reminds me of 7.5 years ago...

Last week at Cabela’s, I was glad to find some .32acp fmj for only $17. My Wife shoots it in her Walter PP range toy.
The same day at Academy in BR, I found a spam can of 7.62x39 for $160 and 5.7 at $23 a box(Federal American Eagle.)

You can get some of what you need at one Academy or another if you are willing to drive around Southern Louisiana.

I had consolidated to 9mm and .223/556 some time ago. I have a good amount of ammo but if I was shooting weekly like I used to it wouldnt last long.

I've been shopping for something in .40, 10mm or 762x39 simply because I can find ammo at a not stupid price. I just ordered a Palmetto AK minutes ago.

    I just received a case of WWB 9mm from Cabela’s for $0.22/rd.
Not the best ammo, but it should be fine for hitting steel.

The deals are out there, but they go fast.

CTD was selling Steel Case 9mm for $0.60/rd lol

There is a shop in Ponchatoula selling .357 for $55/box

I hear ya. I guess ya gotta weigh out cost of gas and savings on ammo. Sounds like you did pretty good. Are they limiting the amount you can buy like last panic?

Lol, I did something similar over the last couple years. I had one RIA 1911 in 10mm and a substantial amount of 10mm ammo that I bought on the cheap. Built a AR in 10 and bought a double stack pistol. Problem solved!?! I think...

A total of 3 boxes per visit. That means I purchased the spam can of 7.62x39 and the 2 boxes of 5.7mm.

I pass two Academy's almost daily and was having good luck there until the last week. The last week they've been completely bare of 9mm.

Ironically cheapest ammo I can shoot is 5.45x39. The upfront cost of an Ak74 was pricey but looks like I'm saving money in the long run shooting that over my ACR

Well anyway, fear not good shooters. I’ll likely sell off some of my surplus when prices rise to somewhere between utter lunacy and psychotic insanity...minus the tax and shipping of course.

BP/Cabela's have been getting regular but very limited stock of WWB and Herter's (their house brand, that's just repackaged WWB) regularly but it goes FAST. I managed to grab 500 rounds of the Herter's 9mm FMJ for $10/box a few weeks ago.

My last three orders have all gone through, but then been cancelled. *&#)$&@)@!!!

Recoil Gunworks has some HST and Gold Dots in stock $39.99/50rd box.

Been having OK luck catching Brass 115 9mm at Academy. Leave empty handed at times but been getting enough to keep me shooting without dipping into the stash.

I have seriously considered unloading some unfired factory AR's and some practice ammo, I just don't need the cash and wonder "if" I will every be able to replace what I sell. If I was hard up for money I would sell in a heart beat or if my wife found out what that pile of metal was worth in the closet she would sell it! I unloaded a parts kit on Gunbroker for $925 that I paid less than $200 for not THAT long ago, I know I was never going to build it, the AK kits are safe and sound though!

    Greetings,

I have some 158 grain 357 XTP and some 230 grain 45 ACP golden saber I bought in bulk about a decade ago. What do you think acceptable prices would be?

I see the both auctioning for $0.80 per round in bulk on GunBroker.

Also, I reload 38s. My next batch will be some mild ones for IDPA, 160 grain going about 650-700 fps. Is it even legal to sell reloads? I'm thinking $0.30-$0.35 per round, depending on quantity.

    So...
Is $40 per box on the XTP and Golden Saber kosher?
Is it legal to sell reloads?
If legal, is the price on reloads reasonable?

The big box stores like Academy and Cabela's are usually pretty consistent with prices. The hard part is finding some in stock. They did not lower their prices when ammo was cheap, but they haven't really raised prices now like others.
