I think starting with Trump we will continue to see big swings in elections at every cycle. Example being Obama came along, people who worked for a living felt forgotten so they turned up on election day and brought Trump in. That pisses off the left and they turned up on election day and bring Biden in. And in 4 years to this day everyone who works for a living will feel like they got screwed yet again and will have a strong voter turnout. And the cycle will continue.
And every once in a while us mules that are pulling most the weight of the cart will be given a carrot....followed by a whippin.

But you might be right.

It's been swinging back and forth for a lot longer than Trump. We really need a 3rd party to try and bring some sort of balance. Both sides have become tired and corrupt. People elected Trump because he was supposed to be something different from a career politician but he's been the same as all the rest in my opinion. They always look out for themselves and never the American people.
