    Lafayette, LA
    Doing OK where I am in Lafayette. Still have power. The storm must have damaged some of the statewide 700 MHz public safety radio system. I can't receive any control channels where I am and the LE agencies and Fire Depts in Lafayette Parish are using the older Lafayette Parish 800 MHz system that was installed in the late 80's that they kept up and running as a backup.

    Good to hear that you guys are doing ok out in Western LA. I can imagine that the damage is substantial and will take some time to repair. Saw Plenty of heavy equipment headed west on the 10 this morning heading your way to help!
