It’s shaping up to be a pretty wild week here in SE LA. Just moved here two weeks ago, apparently just in time for a double session of hurricane action.

Like they say, timing is everything. This is not the norm by any means. 2020.....what a crazy, bizarre year!

    Welcome to Louisiana!

Haha. So true. Yes, thankfully this isn’t the norm and will be historic if two Hurricanes make landfall on the GC this week.

All that we can do now is hope for the best but prepare for the worst!

    Think it did in 1923.

I saw a bunch of people buying generators at sam's yesterday. I bet you they will return it if the storms come out to be a non-event.

Which way will Jim Catore go?

On a side not,Generators and gas cans selling like hot cakes at Lowes Yesterday

Tractor supply is out of Generators and cans in big Scott !

There was a line for propane at Ace along with a police detail.

I’m sure those No Spill cans sold out fast.

I changed the oil, and started my generator two days ago.

I've got three days of gasoline in cans, and if need be, another five days in the truck.

We already have a full deep freeze, propane, and many other supplies, including two cases of bottled water.

I installed aluminum storm shutters on my house.

I'm just chilling. Waiting for the talking heads to let the Indy Cars go Vrooom.

Hope it’s an old truck. The new ones aren’t so easy to get the gas out of. It’s a pain if even possible
