Not really new but just made it to market. I can’t see the need for it personally but maybe someone with a hand issue or arthritis.

Wow, so many holes in the concept, where to begin?

How about decreased weapon retention. If you have your thumb stuffed in the back of the grip you will not be able to support the rifle with your firing hand..

That bs about the sideways force on the trigger when you use your index finger.. if you are pulling shots on a rifle due to trigger press force you are really putting in some effort...

Shorter learning curve for new shooters? More bs, how many people have never handled a gun like object with a trigger?
Toy gun, Supersoaker, etc.

Only purpose for this would be for someone who has lost fingers or has some other hand issue. The rest of us will be just fine with the old school setup. And the safety takes care of the not likely to happen stick in the trigger issues when larping thru the woods.

Lookie there, first they build a AR for lefties, then they build one for the man who’s all thumbs. Innovation comes in all flavors. Just because you supplement your diet with crayons doesn’t mean you can’t have a black rifle. These are the days of equal opportunity and everybody’s a winner. Pass out the trophies and AR15’s! Maybe load Tommy boy’s up with snap caps or blanks tho...

On a serious note, if some Viet Kong chopped off your trigger finger, this might be a nice prosthetic trigger option.

Back to the sarcasm, maybe they’ll come out with a pinky trigger model with a nice rainbow camo pattern for our LBGHIJK community. They already have unicorn and snowflake lowers floating around out there.
