I’ll take the reissue. I’d like a P8 HK also but I digress...

Same here! I like Glock and Hk. This one is a good grab for those of us who have had a variety of Glocks, but want something unique and nostalgic.

My first Glock was a G23 Gen 2. I will never forget the time when I was on FTS(full-time support) at a Marine Corps drill center and forgot the G23 that was tucked inside my waistband(covered by the untucked camo utilities blouse.) I nervously stood in formation hoping that no one would notice it. I made a quick trip to my vehicle after the morning formation to deposit the pistol unnoticed. I had already stood before the man for a different matter and did not need an Article 15 to go with it.

I will pass. It is not an original P80 but just a replica of one. Feel free to spend your funds on one if it suits your fancy but, I am not buying into the hype! Buying one of those is like buying a fake Rolex or Sako watch!

Neat marketing idea, but I'm not sure I'd pony up six and a half Benjamins (plus tax, etc.) for what is essentially a Gen 3 gun with a smooth grip.

That said, I predict that these will become very collectible and will fetch some ridiculous prices on GunBroker and such.

I still have my 17L Gen 3 and love it!

I love my 17L, I dont shoot it much but it is super accurate. The trigger is awesome and STOCK. Considering its a gen 1 I decided not to change it.

I am very interested to see if they kept the black internal metal parts like on both of my Gen 1 guns. I think Ill take some side by side pictures.
