picked up a few double stack 1911 80 percent frames to play with.

Pretty sure that they are para style, I will inspect them when they arrive.

I have a Mac arms commander and figured I could use it as a parts gun to finish one of these lowers. I have built a few 1911 on 100 percent frames and taken plenty of them apart to refinish so I am reasonably familiar with the platform.

So what specific double stack parts will I need?

    Trigger
    Mag release
    Mags
    Grips
    ?

I vaguely remember that the hammer, sear, etc are regular parts, as is the grip safety and the main spring housing.

I was looking at the milling fixtures that are for sale. Not opposed to dropping a benjamin on one, but if I can borrow one I would not be opposed to that either. I have a mill and all of the needed equipment and knowledge to use it.

Any info or guidance will be greatly appreciated and feel free to throw in any other thoughts! We can even devolve this thread into a pissing match if needed!!:mamoru: Thanks!
