Picked up a pair of Schofields recently and needed some holsters for them. I made myself a pair over the last week and finished them up yesterday. I plan to make a gun belt also to make a complete rig out of it.

I am still pretty new to leather work. These are holsters number 5 and 6 overall that I have made for different guns.

See post 19 for the complete rig.

For someone new at leather work, you do some outstanding leather craft. You should be proud of those holsters, I know I would be. Thanks for sharing and you could make some extra money on the side. Just a thought...

Thanks for the kind words. Each one I feel I learn something and have seen them get better each time so I like the way I am headed.

Real nice Bonney. Some fine family heirlooms right there
for certain. You should put your mark on them.

So far I have been stamping my initials what number holster and the year.
I want to get a makers mark made now that I know I enjoy doing this kind of work.

Great work! I've found leather work to be so relaxing. We need a forum for our craft here.

Thank would be cool. Sure there are more than just us two here. Maybe.

Beautiful! Picture perfect bro. Have you got any idea what that rig would have cost you from any reputable custom creator? I’m thinking 1 arm, a leg, couple toes..
    A lot.
Whatever you spent in materials pales in comparison, and you have the satisfaction that goes with doing it yourself. I’d be proud as hell.
