Hornady 62gr FMJBT .224"/5.56 Bullets (Non-magnetic) - 1000ct bulk packs
Hornady 62gr $148.00 shipped.
I have only bought 55s in the past.
And have heavy mold to cast 65_70 ish.
I was thinking about powder coating or high tech.

Well, If you're looking then I guess its okay?
I'd like to see a post on some of the work when its finished,The casting and coating that is.
People who do that sort of work are pretty attentive to details !

I paid $307 for 1000 of these to my door back in February. Not the best deal but they were what I wanted so I jumped. Your deal is half that cost, what 15 cents per pill? I’d say that’s a decent deal. And it’s hard to beat Hornady bullets.

I have a 65 grain that cast about 70 with gas checks and lube.
I have what j think will be a great oven. So will do some with Hi Rem or powder coat. For the 20 inch heavy Colt. And have a 55 I will dfo the same with.
But thought tgat the 62 jacketed at 148 shipping included woukd be good to fall back on if the cast does not work out.
I already have 2500 to 3000 loaded 55 grainers as tgat was my go to as m y other 5.56 gun is a 1 in 12 and does not do well with heavy.
I wanted heavy for the better more target rifle.
