I bought a new Kimber 3" K6S .357 revolver from Nick's this afternoon. Got to shoot it with .38's and .357 mag. Action is smooth, trigger stages great, but it's a handful with magnums in it. This will make a great backup in my truck incase I have to shoot through the door. I used to carry a .44 mag years ago, but this gun is nicer.

Does it make a difference if the window is up or down when shooting through a truck door? Just thinking on a average size man Would it be more effective to shoot through the window? I guess it depends on the height of the truck? I saw a cop recently was disciplined for pointing a gun at the door while talking to someone standing by the unit. I also saw that in a movie awhile back. Very nice looking gun.

My window is never down when I'm driving, so if stopped at a red light or something I had always had a plan to shoot through the door if I had too. I wouldn't do that with my 9mm though, just a .357 or .44 mag.
