Our Palo Alto R&P Club Last Chance EIC Rifle Match is scheduled on Sunday, November 22, barring another hurricane.

When this match is complete we will move to the pistol range for Service Pistol and 22 RF Pistol EIC matches. These pistol EIC matches will be attended mostly by riflemen. A good pistolaro will likely get points with little better than the minimum qualifying score.

On Saturday, November 21 we will have our monthly 80-shot regional course match for everyone to get good sight zeros.

I appreciate you loaning the pistol to me for the .22 leg match.

I heard Mr. Vidrine earned a pistol leg in Service Pistol. Congratulations to him. That is a tough game.

Palo Alto November 22, 2020 Last Chance EIC Rifle Match Results

    OFFICIAL MATCH REPORT
LAST CHANCE ECELLENCE IN COMPETITION RIFLE MATCH
    MATCH DATE NOVEMBER 22, 2020
    MATCH DIRECTOR: DWAYNE VIDRINE

The turnout for our Last Chance Excellence in Competition Rifle Match was much better than last year due to everyone’s support and the cancellation of the CMP’s Talladega 600 program. We had eighteen shooters, three of whom were Distinguished. The remaining fifteen non-distinguished shooters were eligible for a six EIC point bronze leg in this match. A minimum of sixteen non-distinguished shooters are required for the award of two six-point bronze legs. The weather was clear and cool with a light switching wind that made 600 yd. prone challenging. Everyone had a good time shooting on a beautiful cool November Sunday.

Michael Cameron took first place gold with a 480-16X. Second place silver went to Nick Owen with a 480-13X. Third place bronze and the six EIC points went to Michaele Burke with a score of 475-7X. The First Leather award goes to Jeffery Sovern with a score of 469-9X. The three top scoring shooters will receive gold, silver, and bronze medals directly from the Civilian Marksmanship Program. Thank you to everyone who attended the match and to Lee Shall for calling the firing line.
