Loved Sean Connery as an actor and he seemed like he was a pretty decent dude as well. He will always be my favorite Bond. I'll be having a martini, shaken, not stirred, in his honor sometime soon.

A buddy of mine used to say Connery, even in his 70s, was the only man on earth who could walk into a bar dressed like Elton John’s stunt double, order a Gay Pink Squirrel, and still leave with every woman present.

    Not “any” woman.

    ALL of them.

And to think, I almost bought a Walter PPK/S because of him. I like my 357 much better that I got instead.

Oh dang Gator! That was a laugh riot.

I liked him in the 007 flicks and other movies. Didn’t know him as a person so I can’t comment on that. He will always be the Bond that I remember. I heard or read somewhere that this new blue eyed Bond actor is not exactly a womanizer....Take that however you want. But I think he’s a good actor too and appreciate the roles he plays in movies so I won’t bash him for being funny, not funny haha...anyway, they can’t all be Keanu Reeves or Ted Nugent.
