I just found about 30 rounds of old .357 Magnum JHP ammo that's corroded. I tried to disassemble the rounds using a Quinetics bullet puller, but the bullets won't come out of the brass. I kept banging on one round until the lead actually came out of its jacket, but the jacket stayed in the brass! I don't want to take a chance shooting the ammo, so I need some advice. How can I safely unload the components?

I doubt that any components are going to be usable. If you can't polish up the brass without seeing pitting, you can't use those. Not pitted you can shoot 'em. If the bullets fall apart, you can't use them. The powder is a toss up but may be usable.
If you have 357 dies you might run 'em into the seating die to loosen the bullet before pulling.

If they are that bad the brass is shot! I would not trust them. Soak in WD-40 or water something and toss.

I have pulled unpullable Bullets by gripping the bullet with a pair of side cutters and bending the bullet only (not the case) to one side then the other while anchoring the case head on a table top.

*Do NOT grip anything where it’s possible to squeeze a primer.

According to myth busters a round going off loose/not in a chamber is not deadly. The brass might and that’s a just might break skin barely. So in the name of science if you live in a place where you can do such things throw them in a fire and run. Then report back here.

My point was to soak them to make the primers inert not to loosen the bullets

30 357 cases to.me is just not worth it.
I have 357 and 38 from the 70 to 80 s with the nickel worn off.
