RGR normally pays .40 a share on a quarterly basis. Last August, they paid out a special dividend of $5 a share from a surplus of 240 million. In my case, it was enough to get several more shares on my drip(dividend reinvestment program.) Yes, Ruger is one of my best stocks.

probably not a good time to buy...

It appears that ammo is starting to come back around! I’d like to see hunting calibers back in stock soon.

Stopped by academy yesterday and saw lots of .22, .17HMR, a few spam cans of 7.62x39, Federal: .308,6.5creedmore, .270win and .40.. the demand calibers (5.56, 9mm) were still behind the service desk but in pretty good supply so I scored some for a friend over the past couple days.

Yeah man the only 30-30 I have seen in stock was 5-6 bucks a round lol I just ordered my projectiles online. I don't remember hunting rounds flying off the shelf last time. I just don't see people stocking 1,000s of hunting rounds but I could be wrong. Hell one box last me a season no problem. But I promise once I get my powder to weight ratio where I want it I'll be set. I saw 9mm for 1.20 per round and laughed. I guess its all these dooms day preppers that don't see past tomorrow.

I believe I have an 180 grain 0.311 mold around here and a bit of lead,Considering going sub-sonic,suppressed with the old 30/30...

Back 'in tha days', my favorite armadillo rifle was a Rem 600/243; left nothing but a red mist where armadillo was

    I can't believe 556 is going for $800 to $1000 per 1000. That's insane. I refuse to pay over .40 per round.

Hope you stocked up ahead of time then. Cheapest I’ve seen 223/556 is Academy Sports a couple weeks ago and was .45 cents per round for .223 and .50 per for the 5.56 green tips.

I happened to be in Wally World in Hammond to buy a new ice chest....figured while I was there I'd get my son another pack of .243 Win for his rifle. Nope sold out of EVERYTHING except for some 12 ga. duck and pheasant shells and 2 boxes of .17HMR. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GONE!!! Wow.

Lol, I was at one of my hole-in-the -wall gun-stores the other day when a dude came in looking for a box of 243.Owner didn't have any.

So I told the looker I thought I had a box of 100 grain Remington's at the house.

He's like no thanks Ima looking for 75 or 80 grain?

I'm like Okay brah good luck ! WTH over?

I do have 2 boxes at the house, we changed scopes and sighted it in.....13 year old son kept reloading his Tikka T3 243 and shooting swing targets at 200 yards.....having a ball but depleting my 243 stash! I can't say I blame him, that rifle is funnnnnnn to shoot! So we will just get through this hunting season and load up on 243 when the price/availability are good. I'm good with everything else.

Funny that he wouldn't scoop up 100gr., 75 or 80 is a 243 Varmint load - the 100 grain would do the trick just as well.
