So, I was presented with a trade that was semi gun related.
I get the gun..... he gets a bass guitar.

He offered a 1962 S&W Model 10 (no dash) with some ammo for a bass guitar I had. It seems to lock up tight and really not much of a cylinder gap. It's got some blueing fade and I'm not sure how many rounds through it.
Regardless, it seems pretty solid and fully functional.

Does anybody know what this may be worth? IMG_3685(1).jpg628403759.jpg628405114.jpg

    Need more photos.

One from the front with the cylinder crane closed.

One of the backstrap on the grip frame.

One of the other side of the revolver.

Off hand I'd say ~$400-$500 retail.

    Well, I got the gun.
Trying to decide if I want to keep it, swap it or sell it.

If it was me I would keep it but I also need a bigger safe if you know what I am saying. But would use it.
Good honest gun there. From the days of when men were men.
My own grandfather carried one like it untill.he grabbed up a Colt 6 shot with hammer cover.
Even ok enough to shoot with full wad cutter hand loads in 38 spl case's.
I even had custom target grips made for my Colt Mustang.
Do not know what you have but they are cool with that all business look.
At 400 i would be all over it as S&W is great with service as well as restorations.

    If I decide to sell....$400

I have allot of good honest guns like this.
    I love them!
However, I'm still furloughed from my job due to Covid.
I'm surviving by doing my plan B.... and thank God for that!
The extra funds from this gun wouldn't hurt, especially with Christmas and all around the corner.

You should keep it. You might regret selling it later.
