Website shows temporarily sold out (Back in stock as of 12/8/20), but you will likely have to go in store anyway. Since it's sold out, this isn't as much of a hot deal as it is a heads up. Everyone is complaining about pistol prices right now and I've seen a lot of people asking for more budget friendly options for self defense. At $350, the Beretta APX is difficult to beat.

Also it is currently available at Buds for $419.

    Beretta APX 9mm 17+1 - $349.99

I think the first line in your post is the problem. If you don’t luck up you’re not finding good deals until they are out of stock. Probably companies putting small numbers on sale to generate traffic to the site.

It was in stock yesterday. Guns are going fast. The same deal was posted last week and they were sold quickly.

There is no problem with the post. I specifically stated that this is more of a heads up. Everyone is looking for Glocks that don't cost $800, when this is a much cheaper option that pops up for sale. As fast as guns are going, they have been showing up.

Although it's priced higher, the APX Carry is actually available currently and is a decent competitor to the Glock 43. I don't personally care for them, but it's an option and not priced ridiculous.

Edit - APX Available at Buds for $419.

Agreed, You said exactly what I said just with a lot more typing and visual aides. And I wasn’t meaning you’re post was wrong I was pointing out that it being out of stock was the problem.

It’s in stock at Buds for $419, so the post was edited. I’m keeping an eye on it, so when it’s restocked a Sportsmans Warehouse, I’ll repost.

I missed one for sale at $310 recently and I’m kicking myself for it.

Blue label glocks were scarce for a while but they are regularly in stock at Practical Tactical. Hopefully all the craziness is on the decline.

A blue label Glock is a better buy if someone is eligible.

    Otherwise, a $419 APX is a much better buy than a $600+ G17.

    It’s not a better handgun but $600>$419 I guess.

Just in case anyone wants one. I’ve seen them off and on lately at 2 Academy stores. They are nice pistols.
    Both the 9mm and .40

I bought a couple of guns from Sportsmans Warehouse, ordered online, picked up later in Slidell. Four days after order I got an email with a coupon code for 10% off of my next online order. If you're looking for a gun and willing to risk waiting a few days, you might try ordering something small, like a pocket flashlight, and wait to see if you get the discount code.

And a heads up on their procedure, which is kind of screwy. When you buy online you pay with a credit card. When you pick it up in the store, they ring it up and then give you credit for the payment you made. On my first purchase they actually gave me a refund because the guns rang up at a lower price than I had paid online. However, when I used the 10% off code it was a little confusing because what I paid online didn't cover the price that they rang up. They had to discount the guns to make it right. Just watch it if you make a purchase this way.

I hate playing *20 questions*, so please elaborate .....
In my experience with my apx compared to my Glocks just as reliable, better trigger, better steel sights, steel guiderod, much better grip, easier to shoot, and just all around a more enjoyable gun to shoot. If I had to pick a Glock 17 or full size apx I’d pick the apx. The only area Glock shines is aftermarket. Luckily I don’t have to pick and own both guns.

I’m speaking solely about the full size 17+1 version that was created for MX17 to replace the M9 service pistol.

Are these things any good? How did they fare against the M17/18? Are they comparable with FNH quality?

I’m not a fan of YouTube reviews, so I won’t bother sharing them.

It’s a good pistol for what it is. I would buy an APX before I bought a 509, even though the 509 is also a good pistol. They are well made, but the aftermarket is lacking. For $350 it’s tough to beat.

$350 is a great deal for a reliable striker fired pistol anytime (pre or post pandemic), but my hesitation with the APX would be in the availability of stuff ... extra mags, holsters, etc.

But if one can get the doodads that one needs for it, that's an awesome price.
