Considering all we’ve seen from the ATF in the past few years, I feel like this article is a decent synopsis of their actions and perhaps some perspective into the absurdities they continue to attempt.

I think one of the smarter lawyers actually read what was pit out and realized it was so vague and inconsistent with previous decisions that it was an open invitation for the public to have the courts put the ATF in its place. So they pulled it and will plan to eventually reach the same goal later but using smaller steps.

So it appears that once again they’ve published something without giving it much intelligent thought and now they realize how it makes them look, not to mention easy to argue against in court, so they changed their collective minds. Again. Ok. That sounds pretty accurate to me.

It almost seem as of late someone is showing a shiny object out in the open to make us all look while they do the real dirty work under the table or in the dark web.
