My two current carry options seem heavy, comparatively, but people don't realize how heavy all steel guns can be.

    Glock 17 with modifications (17+1 124 gr HST +P) = 37.6 oz
    Glock 34 with modifications (17+1 124 gr HST +P) = 45 oz

Thanks for the chart and effort.
We all have seen weights in different places and times, but for me anyway, never at the same spot & time.

For anything not on this list, visit www.handgunhero.com and just punch in the name of your pistol and it'll give you the dimensions, capacity and unloaded weight specs. Also very handy for doing side-by-side comparisons of any two.

For the sake of ballparking, a round of 124gr HST weighs 0.43oz

For me the width of the gun is more important for comfort of carry-on weight. My daily carry is a 5" 1911. It is far more comfortable than my CZ75 compact even though it is smaller and lighter. Both in a crossbreed holster so no advantages 1 way or the other there.

Reliability is my #1 Priority in a carry pistol so I stay with quality striker fired pistols. YMMV
